Well-Being: Life is Beautiful

Today I return from a sabbatical in France and this journey reminds me that “Life is Beautiful–La Vie est Belle.”

The reflections are what I’m bringing home with me. I invite you to create your own reflections when you return from your next vacation or business trip. My example is that this time France has affirmed for me to:

  1. Surround myself with people who value my presence and I feel lighter after being with them.
  2. Plan experiences that inspire me especially those in nature.
  3. Choose activities that renew my purpose and creative juices.
  4. Create rituals and habits that support me with what matters most.
  5. Acknowledge at the end of the day my emotional responses to the day’s events, people, and gifts and losses. Release what is no longer serves.

What will you bring back from your next vacation or trip to enhance your well-being? As I discovered, what a gift a brief reflection can be!
